Control at your fingertips.
Smart home devices are indeed 'smart', but only when your smartphone is at hand. Lora's integrated touchscreen changes that to save your time. Change between settings, modes or simply adjust the brightness or hue with a light tap. See relevant informations of your surrounding or smart home.
Whenever you have your smartphone at hand, you can make precise adjustments using Lora's app. Define your personalized lighting schedules, try out effects or find the perfect atmosphere for your occasion.
Lora's magic.
Lora uses her integrated sensors to continuously adjust the lighting according to her sourrundings. This ensures a natural feeling and a perfectly lit environment for your needs and activities.
Lora utilizes 4 different types of white LEDs to achieve the most natural feeling throughout the day. Ranging from a cozy 1800K, resembling candlelight, to a vibrant 6500K, mimicking daylight. Lora uses Samsung’s LM302N series of LEDs, which is specially designed to support your bodies natural rhythm.
Lora uses individual controllable RGB LEDs so you can get what you really want. No matter if you want that cozy look, matching effects for your party or interesting animations to dive deep into your board game, Lora got you covered.
To make Lora intelligent and independent, I integrated light, gesture, temperature and air quality sensors. These help Lora to sense her environment and adjust the lighting to match your needs or remind you to open a window once in a while. Additionally you can use the gesture recognition as a "dirty hands" mode for situations, when touching things is not an option.
Your home, your rules.
The matter standard is the perfect foundation for Lora because it is relatively new, robust and supported by many smart home vedors like Apple home, Google home, Amazon Alexa and so on.
Lora will be easy to set up with your normal Wi-Fi and will integrate seamlessly into your system of choice. And in case you have no wifi at all, basic functionality will be available even without a connection to the internet.
Made to last, designed for repair.
Electronic waste is already a huge problem on our planet and every day there are thousands of products being disposed of in landfills instead of being repaired. With Lora I want to change the problem of single use lighting systems and thereby help to reduce electronic waste altogether. I want to empower everybody to repair their electronics if they want to and feel comfortable with it.
Lora is designed to last a long time, but if something stops working like it is supposed to, it can easily be replaced. LED modules are magnetically connected to the power modules for effortless repairs or upgrades. All other parts are connected by simple pin and headers and there are no proprietary screws or other non-sense.
In addition to her modular design, Lora's body and PCBs are made from aluminium to provide a highly efficient heat dissipation and to ensure the longevity of the used LEDs.
Lora probably won't need a repair for a long time but if something happens, there is a plan. In case something breaks, you can simply order a replacement part or get one for free if your Lora is still within the 2 year warranty.
After you replaced your part, you can send back the old part to get a discount on your purchase. After that it can be inspected, repaired or properly recycled.
For each possible repair, there will be a comprehensive repair guide, so there is no guesswork on how to fix Lora.
